About QR Code Generator

Generate static QR codes that encode your content directly — there is no redirect service, no tracking, and no expiry. Download a high-resolution PNG for documents or an SVG for print and design work.

How to use QR Code Generator

  1. Choose the content type: link, text, Wi-Fi, or email.
  2. Enter the details. The preview updates as you type.
  3. Adjust the error-correction level, colors, and margin if needed.
  4. Download as PNG or SVG, and scan it with a phone to test before printing.

Examples

Wi-Fi

Guests scan the code to join your network without typing the password.

Print

Download the SVG for flyers so the code stays sharp at any size.

Limitations

  • Static codes cannot be edited after printing; generate a new code if the content changes.
  • Low-contrast or inverted colors can make codes unreadable for some scanners. Utilhex warns you when contrast is low.
  • A QR code holds at most about 2,900 bytes at the lowest error-correction level.

Privacy

This tool processes everything locally in your browser tab. Your input is not uploaded to Utilhex or any third party, and it is discarded when you close or reload the page. Read the privacy policy for details.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The content is encoded directly in the code, so it works for as long as the content (for example, the link) remains valid.

Is the Wi-Fi password sent anywhere?

No. The code is generated in your browser; the password is only stored inside the image you download.

Which error-correction level should I use?

Medium (M) suits most uses. Choose Quartile or High if the code may be damaged or partly covered, at the cost of a denser pattern.
